IMAGIN AFRICA 2025 CONFERENCE

PROJECT:

We intend to create a conference next year 2006 or the year after 2007 about The re-invention of Africa in 2025.
The Conference would like to take all the ideals promoted by African artists, singers, filmmakers, writers and intellectuals for the last centuary and create that "Dreamed Africa". We need to bring to African people in all the fields of their everyday life those ideals. How do we translate that vision into reality. As a filmmaker, the first approach is to imagin a film that can project us into an utopia. Once we will live it though a type of a film exeprience, that fiction will operate as a seed we could therefore implement for African people.
That Africa of science-fiction should then be the model for all the actors of the political, social, cultural and economic development in the continent.

This is the reason why all the actors should be present at the conference from rebels, sportsmen, singers, politicians, officers, religious etc...
